I know that since March, when we did Man Month, many of you’ve been wondering when we would get around to doing a month focused on women. Well ladies, the time has finally come. This month it’s all about us. It’s our turn to break down and shake off some of the widely held and erroneous beliefs about us girls. Misconceptions that hold us back and make our interactions with the opposite sex difficult. Notions like:

1. EVERY woman wants to be a wife and mother – even the ones that swear they don’t.
2. Women are too emotional, and therefore irrational and reactionary.
3. Only easy girls have sex on the first date.
4. Women actually want to hear the truth from men. (If you’re sitting there wondering why this made the list I ask you this: Did you really want to hear the truth the last time you asked your man ‘Do I look fat in this?’ Nuff said. )

To help us do justice to these topics we’ve called on a few fellow bloggers – including Man Shopper, KB in NYC, Max-Logic, Jessica Downey, JFB, Mike Masters and that firecracker Shans, to give us their perspectives.
