ELIZABETH ROSE

I recently read a fascinating and thought provoking book by Marty Klein which I felt was a good reflection of some of the issues raised in yesterday’s post. Most specifically around the influence of sexually negative lobby groups on public policy.

I’m keen to share some of the key points in the book, and was thrilled to find a youtube video by reason.tv of the man himself giving a summary.

He makes an excellent point that this isn’t just about Education, but a war on multiple fronts by folks with influence who have their panties in a twist over others having freedom to explore their sexual preferences. Unfortunately their prudish desires are now impacting the education of children. His focus is America, but many countries have similar issues to face.

I am years away from any impulse to breed, but I have to admit even I took some notice of this when wondering what it is that the next generation will be taught from a sex positive perspective. It’s a great read – definitely on the recommended list!
