We’re four weeks deep and Suzy is still plugging along; frankly she doesn’t sound more optimistic or enthusiastic than she did last week but hey, that’s just my feeling. I’m skeptical that Calling In The One: 7 Weeks To Attract Your Soulmate is going to pay any dividends for Suzy and help her find the love she desires. But we will see.

Can you tell me what you’ve done this week?

We’re a little early, I haven’t quite done it yet; last night’s chapter was on integrity and being true to ourselves and that if we’re caught up in  conflict with ourselves it’s harder to make room for love in our lives. But I think I live with integrity so I didn’t really do the exercises.

What were the exercises?

You had to write about who you owe money to and pay them. I only owe money to my credit cards. I’m not going to pay them today. (laughs)

What else was there in this week’s chapter?

I had to do meditation and instead of visualising where we use our imagination, we create what we want our lives to look like. I did visioning and that’s where you meditate and ask a question to the universe or god or whoever.

What was your question?

Well, there was a list of questions that I had to ask. And one of them was ‘What does love look like; what does love fulfilled look like in my life’. And I got a picture of a fucking clown….

(laughter)

I shouldn’t laugh. Is there a guide that’s supposed to interpret these visions?

No guide. I just got a clown. And a baby.

A clown and a baby.

Yup.

Okay.

Well that is acceptable.

How far are you from finishing this chapter or set of exercises?

I think there’s only one or two things left.

And do you know what it is your supposed to do?

No, not yet. And that’s how I got the thing that I have too cook dinner too.

Oh yeah, explain that.

It’s what do we have to do to help…uhm…realize love and I got cook yourself a meal.

Okay.

That was my inner guidance or whatever.

Is that supposed to represent something?

I think domestic-y, kind of taking care of yourself and I always say the reason I don’t cook is because I’m just cooking for myself. If I could cook for somebody else it might be different. So maybe this  is like practice to get me back into the swing of things. I dunno. I don’t question.

Last week when we talked you called the process hooey…

Yes.

…and maybe I’m wrong but I sensed a bit of frustration or something on your part with the whole process; this is a two part question. One, do you still feel it’s hooey? And two, do you feel frustrated by the process?

No. I feel embarrassed talking about it more than I…when I’m at home it doesn’t really bug me, I’m just reading and doing the exercises but it’s a little bit embarrassing talking about it.

Why?

Because it’s very vulnerable; but I guess I said that’s what I wanted. (laughs)

So do you still feel it’s hooey?

I’m kind of hooey so I guess it’s okay that it is.

Um, now you have three weeks…

I’m going to school to be a therapist…this should be right up my alley. (laughs)

…You’ve got three weeks left….

Do you know when the three weeks ends?

No.

When I go to New York for Fleet Week.

Oh. Excuse me!

Oh yeah!

Perfect timing I guess, do you have any…actually let me ask this first; what would you like to accomplish with the rest of this week’s work, week four’s work?

(sighs) A nice meal.

And what are you looking forward to for the next three weeks? Or what are you hoping happens in the next three weeks?

The courage to get online again because it’s really scary; I don’t like it.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

So they say…

Any other thoughts or comments?

No.

Ok.

It’s just embarrassing.

Oh, it’s fine. Thank you.

You’re welcome.
