Shades of Grey Ben-Wa Balls
• Easy to clean
• Can barely feel them inside me
• Small & not very easy to remove
• For the more experienced user
This was my very first time using Ben-Wa Balls, and I will start off by saying that this particular pair is probably not the ideal choice for those using a kegel balls for the first time. I would recommend something that is larger, connected, and has some kind of retrieval cord. I’m slowly getting the hang of these Ben-Wa Balls.
Kegel balls are very beneficial to women. The purpose of Ben-Wa Balls is to help strengthen and tighten the kegel muscles. As far as pleasure goes, these have yet to give me any kind of pleasurable sensation during use.
Inserting the Ben-Wa Balls was very easy for me. My kegel muscles are fairly strong already, so I was able to use my muscles to keep them inside of me. When I put both balls in at the same time, I was having a hard time keeping them in place. They were so small that I could barely feel them. I felt them mostly when they were about to fall out. Since I had a hard time using both of them at the same time, I decided to just try one ball. This was a lot easier for me. I was able to contract my kegel muscle around the one ball, and keep it in place. As for now, I’m continuing to use the one ball and hoping to be able to eventually use both balls at the same time. I haven’t had these very long, and I just need some time to get used to them. There is no retrieval cord to remove these balls, so you do have to fish them out on your own. You’ll find what works best for you best the more you use them.
The Shades of Grey Ben-Wa Balls have a decent amount of weight to them. It doesn’t come included with anything saying ho much they weigh, but after doing some research online and comparing them to other balls just like them, I would say that they weigh 0.2 lb. I try and use my kegel balls 3 times a day for about 10-15 minutes at a time. Afterwards, I can feel the workout that my kegel muscles got.
The Shades of Grey Ben-Wa Balls are very small in size. They are 2 1/2 inches in circumference , and no bigger than a quarter. These small balls are definitely for those who are experienced with using kegel balls. I would recommend that first time users go with a kegel ball that is bigger and easier to contract your muscles around.
These balls are made of a gold metal. They’re obviously not real gold but most likely plated gold. I’ve yet to notice any kind of fading or chipping, but it’s something that could possibly happen. Like I said before, I haven’t had these very long. If you’re someone who is allergic to metals, these Ben-Wa Balls aren’t going to work for you. Personally, I haven’t experienced any reactions to the metal material. What I enjoy most about the material is that it’s cool to the touch, but it retains my body heat almost as soon as I insert them.
Keeping Them Clean:
Cleaning the Shades of Grey Ben-Wa Balls is a simple process.Their are a number of way you can clean them. Metal can be cleaned with soap and water, boiled on the stove, bleached with a 10% bleach and water solution, or put through the dishwasher. It’s also safe to use with any kind of lubricant.
Keeping Them Safe / Packaging:
The Shades of Grey Ben-Wa Balls come packaged in a cardboard box, and they’re housed inside of a plastic clam-shell type of packaging. It doesn’t come with a pouch to store them inside, but I would definitely recommend storing them inside some kind of pouch. If you don’t have a pouch to store them inside of, you can just keep them in the clam-shell packaging.
